Srinagar, May 19: In a continued crackdown against drug trafficking under the ongoing Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyan, Srinagar Police on Monday attached a residential house along with adjoining land measuring seven marlas, valued at nearly ₹1.50 crore, in the Parimpora area of the city.

The property belongs to alleged drug peddler Owais Amin Denthoo, son of Mohd Amin Denthoo, a resident of Parimpora.

Officials said the attachment has been made under the relevant provisions of the NDPS Act in connection with FIR No. 32/2026 registered at Police Station Parimpora under Sections 8/22 and 29 of the Act.

During investigation, police stated that the property was allegedly acquired using proceeds from illegal drug trafficking activities. The action is part of sustained efforts by Srinagar Police to dismantle narcotics networks and curb drug abuse in society.

Reiterating its commitment towards a drug-free Jammu and Kashmir, Srinagar Police has appealed to the public to report any information related to drug peddling and narcotics trafficking in their areas.
