Popular YouTuber MrBeast has officially challenged T-Series to a sub count face-off. “I’m doing this for Pewdiepie,” he wrote on the microblogging platform X. MrBeast is the biggest YouTuber on the planet at present. He has subscribers that are second only to T-Series. He is now fighting to become the YouTuber that has the most number of subscribers in the world.

T-Series has at least 247 million subscribers, while MrBeast has at least 173 million. Notably, YouTuber PewDiePie was once the most subscribed YouTube channel. Previously, there was an online battle between PewDiePie and T-Series for the title of the most-subscribed channel on YouTube. The rivalry began in 2018 when T-Series' subscriber count began to near PewDiePie's

 

What was the PewDiePie vs T-Series battle about?

With MrBeast’s latest declaration of war with T-Series comes flashbacks of PewDiePie’s battle with the same company. Among stars who supported PewDiePie at the time were Markiplier, Jacksepticeye, MrBeast and Logan Paul. In general, the competition is believed to have ended, and T-Series is believed to have won.

At the time when the competition between T-Series and PewDiePie was going strong, MrBeast bought billboards and radio advertisements in North Carolina in an attempt to urge people to subscribe to PewDiePie's channel. He also created a video, where he was seen saying “PewDiePie" as many as 100,000 times in 12 hours. MrBeast, as well as his friends, attended Super Bowl LIII flaunting T-shirts that read "Sub 2 PewDiePie.”

In 2019, various marches were held in support of PewDiePie, including a parade in Tallinn, Estonia. Hundreds of people took part in the march. In another incident, a plane with a banner attached saying “Subscribe to PewDiePie” flew over New York City. The incident was watched by over 21,000 people as PewDiePie live-streamed it. The flight and banner cost more than $4,500 and were reportedly crowdfunded by PewDiePie's fanbase.
